Knauf Airless Training

'I have been interested in learning how to plaster for some time, but I was worried it would make a pre-existing shoulder injury worse: I have heard lots of horror stories about the physical pain traditional plastering techniques can cause. However, when I learned about Knauf Airless I realised this might be something I could do.'

Great Preparation Starts with Knauf's Jointing Range

Preparation is key to achieving a great finish and using Knauf jointing products make that easy. Simply prepare the joints and beads on walls and ceilings by bedding Knauf Joint tape into Knauf Joint Filler Premium or Knauf Fill & Finish and ensure they are flush with the tapered edge. Once dry you can apply the first coat of Knauf Airless Finish.

Knauf Jointing Used On Mace Project

The Knauf jointing range was used throughout this project by AT Plastering to support the application of the Airless Finish. Andrew commented that "it mixes nicely, covers well and is easy to apply. They're the main 3 things that we need to make sure of when using a product."

The Knauf Airless Finishes range has been specified for this project rather than traditional plaster. “Using the Airless spray finishes will save a lot of time on site, there’s no question about that. In our experience while a plasterer might be hesitant about using it for the first time, once they’ve tried it there’s no going back!” says Ken Parkin of Keyes Brothers
