Splendour and intricate detailing characterise the interiors of the redeveloped £100 million Celtic Manor Hotel and Country Club in Newport, Gwent, where Knauf's plasters, plasterboards and ceiling systems have been used to their full potential. The works carried out at the hotel have resulted in it being one of the best in the area, offering the most facilities as well as being able to keep the traditional feel and services that it always has done. Works have varied from new buildings to the indoor and outdoor renovation of existing structures. New outdoor projects such as a large barbecue area have added to the amenities.
Chris Lodge Building Contractors specified Knauf products because of the excellent technical backup provided by the company and the availability of materials to meet all the requirements of the projects. The products used included Multicover Finish Plaster, Fireshield plasterboards and C-Form II and MF Ceiling Systems.
Situated amongst 1400 acres, the five star hotel comprises some 400 bedrooms, three restaurants, two health clubs and three golf courses.
