CASE STUDY:

Typical day for a 3 man team: 2 sessions at 75m² each

7:30

Arrive on site and preparation (allow 1 hr 30 mins)

connect the machine to the water and electricity supply

run water through the machine to test that it is flowing freely

fill the hopper with plaster and adjust to the right consistency

whilst one man sets up the machine, his mates prepare the room

9:00

Session 1: spray and rule off (allow 1 hr 30 mins)

spray in overlapping bands, section by section

form a flat and true surface on the paster with a metal rule

time for a short break

10:30

Session 1: finish the plaster 75m² (allow 1 hr 30 mins)

close in the surface with a spatula as the plaster starts to pick up

use a sponge float and water to scour the surface and bring up the fats

flatten the fats into the surface using a steel trowel

create the final 'glass' smooth finish with a steel trowel

Session 1: clean and tidy machine (1 man whilst other 2 finish)

pump out any surplus plaster from the hopper

run the machine with a special cleaning shaft and hose away any residue

clean out the hoses with a sponge ball - job done

Session 2: spray and finish 75m² (allow 3 hrs)
includes spray and rule off, finish the plaster and clean the machine

MP75 Projection Plaster is supplied through leading builders' merchants in 25kg bags. It can be delivered to site in pallets of 45 bags.
